The Tone:
This is a full-time remote role at SureSwatch Paint Swatches. The company provides an innovative solution for choosing paint colors, offering low-tack, removable swatches made with real paint to help customers easily test colors in their spaces without damage. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payroll, directly supporting the company’s operational efficiency. By maintaining meticulous financial records and ensuring compliance, this position plays a critical part in the smooth financial functioning and growth of SureSwatch Paint Swatches.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Review and code vendor invoices accurately, ensuring timely processing and payment to maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Expense Report Management: Process and meticulously review employee expense reports, verifying compliance with company policies and facilitating prompt reimbursement.
• Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and post precise accounting journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain up-to-date records within financial systems to ensure accuracy.
• Payroll Administration: Verify payroll data, assist actively with payroll processing, and diligently resolve any discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
• Financial Support & Compliance: Collaborate effectively with finance and operations team members to support budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires an Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or demonstrates equivalent practical experience in a similar financial role.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and foundational financial reporting. Must possess proficiency in working with accounting or ERP software and various spreadsheet applications, such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Skills: Possesses strong core accounting and finance skills, combined with solid analytical abilities for reconciliation and journal entries. Exhibits excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a remote setting. Communicates clearly, both in writing and verbally, fostering effective collaboration within a remote team, and maintains strict confidentiality regarding financial data while adhering to financial controls and compliance standards.
