What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Management: Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly, reviewing them to verify proper approvals, accurate pricing, correct quantities, and necessary supporting documentation.
• Payment Preparation: Prepare various types of vendor payments, including ACH, checks, and wire transfers, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while following policy compliance.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain and update vendor records with accurate information and payment terms, respond to invoice status and payment inquiries, and collect W-9s for new vendor setups.
• Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, track down missing invoices, monitor aging reports for overdue or unresolved items, and identify duplicate charges or invoice errors.
• Accounting Support: Assist with month-end reconciliations and closing activities, including GL coding to correct accounts or cost centers, and maintain organized electronic and physical financial documentation.

• Background: Current enrollment or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required for this entry-level internship.
• Skills: Reliable transportation for on-site work; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; clear communication skills.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; openness to learning new information every day.
