Job Summary

ATI Restoration, LLC. (ATI) is a national leader in construction restoration, dedicated to assisting customers and clients with projects of all sizes. As part of our national expansion, we are actively growing our teams and have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk at our Headquarters in Anaheim, CA.

Under the direct supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in preparing and meticulously examining the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the AP department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accuracy Verification: Meticulously check the accuracy of all business transactions.
  • Data Management: Perform essential data entry and administrative duties to maintain organized records.
  • Team Support: Provide additional support and assistance to the Accounts Payable team as needed.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile processed work by diligently verifying entries for any discrepancies and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Vendor Payments: Manage and schedule paychecks for assigned vendors, ensuring timely receipt of payments for outstanding credits.
  • Vendor Communication: Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Invoice Review: Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices to prevent errors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive tracking of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, and other relevant documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • MS Office Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Other Tools: Familiarity with Google Mail and general PC operation.

Communication Skills

  • English Fluency: Fluent in English, both oral and written communication is essential.
  • Bilingual (Plus): Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

  • This position operates within a professional office environment.
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, faxes, and e-filing systems.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to sit and stand.
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Required Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma is required. Some college coursework completed is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Work Ethic: Deadline-oriented and able to function effectively in a high-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Flexibility: Must be able and willing to work extended hours as business needs require.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Industry Experience (Plus): Construction industry experience is a valuable asset.
