What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of financial data, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports, ensuring integrity across all records.
• Invoice Processing: Assist with processing accounts payable invoices, which includes matching invoices with purchase orders, accurately coding expenses, and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of various financial reports, statements, and summaries to provide clear insights into financial performance.
• Audit Support: Assist in compiling essential information required for both internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
• Departmental Support: Perform other duties as required to comprehensively support the day-to-day operations and strategic objectives of the Accounting Department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar field is preferred, or an equivalent of 1-year accounts payable experience is required.
• Experience: At least 1-year of equivalent accounts payable experience. Candidates must also have experience using financial/accounting software.
• Skills: Strong organization and meticulous attention to detail are essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with competing deadlines and the capability to work independently.
• Bonus: Preferred experience in organizations with a workforce of 1,500 or more is a plus.
