• Mission: Support the company’s accounting function by performing a variety of duties and coordinating work within the department and with other departments.
• Tech Stack: Telephone, PC/Computer keyboard, Printer, Calculator, Fax machine, Copy machine

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Transactions: Review various documents, transactions, and worksheets related to the accounting system and make required entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable: Process invoices within the Accounts Payable System, including general ledger coding, inputting data into the system, and printing and mailing checks.
• Respond to Inquiries: Assist with researching and responding to accounts payable inquiries and other requests from company personnel or customers within established time frames.
• Coordinate Operations: Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
• Ensure Compliance: Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related accounting position is normally required.
• Skills: Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate PC skills.
