Business Accounting Intern | Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process invoices, vouchers, receipts, and requisitions for accuracy and compliance within financial guidelines.
• Support the Accounts Payable function by managing vendor communication and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with purchasing-related paperwork and the tracking of procurement activities.
• Prepare and review basic financial reports on transactions, funding, and account reconciliations.
• Enter and verify journal entries directly into the general ledger system.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student or recent graduate with a focus in Accounting.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Comfortable with data entry and proficient in Microsoft Office, with Excel skills being a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and capability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: An interest in learning accounting processes within a business environment.
