The Accounting Department serves as the financial backbone, meticulously ensuring the accurate recording, reporting, and regulation of every dollar, from cruise fare sales to onboard purchases. This vital function maintains the company’s financial health and compliance, navigating the complexities of truly global operations, shipboard revenues, and capital-intensive assets, all while supporting strategic decisions that impact millions of vacationers worldwide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to meaningful work experiences within the Accounting Department, specifically in areas related to cruise fare sales and onboard purchases.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to accurately record, report, and ensure the regulation of financial transactions across the Royal Caribbean Group’s truly global operations.
• Gain real-world experience by assisting with financial compliance and health maintenance, navigating complexities like shipboard revenues and capital-intensive assets.
• Support the Accounting Department’s role in providing accurate financial data that informs and supports strategic business decisions.
• Engage in a comprehensive internship program, enhancing professional development through dedicated sessions, executive spotlights, community service opportunities, and behind-the-scenes ship tours.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field of study, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting-related areas.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of core accounting principles; ability to assist with financial recording, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Work Authorization: Permanent US Work Authorization required.
• Bonus: Minimum GPA of 3.2 is highly preferred.
