About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized individual with a positive attitude to provide essential support across the organization, focusing primarily on office and accounting duties. This multi-functional role is ideal for someone eager to assist various departments and learn more about accounting and property management operations within a real estate development context.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Duties)

• Prepare standard monthly journal entries, ensuring consistency with GAAP requirements.
• Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Assist actively with the month-end close process.
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects to gain further insight into accounting and property management operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting policies, procedures, and software.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction and self-motivation.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Salary

$20 – $25 Hourly
