Job Description:
CBRE is seeking an Accounting Intern in Memphis, TN. This is a part-time, hybrid role (20 hours per week) offering $18 per hour. This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with assembling, analyzing, and balancing general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and month-end related entries.
• Research open accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various source documents.
• Assist in month-end procedures and preparation of financial reporting packages for field offices.
• Participate in overviews of various functional areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and lease administration.
Requirements:
• Must be a 3rd or 4th-year Accounting or Finance student enrolled in an accredited 4-year academic program in the Memphis, Tennessee area.
• This internship is year-round, with the possibility of a full-time position after graduation.
