• Team: Reports to the Assistant Director of Finance.
• Mission: This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, maintains internal controls, and ensures compliance with regulations to safeguard company assets.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Opera/Opera Cloud PMS
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting Support: Assist the finance team in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Coordinate with the Credit Manager to manage group accounts, including understanding contracts, applying deposits, performing billing maintenance, and processing payments.
• Accounts Payable Processing: Handle payment batch printing and mailing, upload Positive Pay and CSI payments, and set up and maintain complete vendor files with required documentation.
• Income Audit & Reconciliation: Prepare the Daily Operations Package, verify adequate support from Night Audit, complete daily rooms reconciliation, and maintain orderly daily audit packs and monthly binders.
• Office & Administrative Support: Perform month-end auditing functions, manage office supply inventory, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of financial principles and operational procedures, particularly within a hotel environment.
• Experience: Prior experience in hotel finance or front office operations is preferred.
• Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, excellent organizational abilities, capacity for multitasking and meeting deadlines, and clear communication skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Opera/Opera Cloud PMS.
