Accounting & Finance Intern – Summer 2027 | Franklin Electric

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person Fort Wayne, IN
• Team: Reports to a supporting management team within one of several finance departments.
• Mission: To contribute to projects across various finance departments, making a meaningful impact while gaining global business exposure.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Operation Systems, Microsoft Office, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate with existing team members to achieve assigned project goals.
• Contribute meaningfully to projects across various finance departments such as Commercial Finance, Corporate Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Develop an understanding of business involvement on a global platform.
• Build professional relationships within the company.
• Ensure the timely completion of project deadlines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in college, pursuing a Finance or Accounting related degree.
• Experience: GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Skills: Communication, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Business Process Knowledge, Microsoft Office (with specific emphasis on Excel), Microsoft Operation Systems.
• Bonus: Junior or Senior standing, having completed Sophomore year.
