Job Description: Accounting/Finance Operations Intern

This is a Full-Time, 3-month internship designed to provide hands-on experience within an accounting team.

SUMMARY
The intern will collaborate closely with the accounting team, primarily focusing on assisting with accounts payable tasks. A key aspect of the role involves learning internal procedures and processes essential for the accurate processing of vendor invoices and other accounts payable duties.

COMMITMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duration: 3 months
Commitment: Full-Time
Hours: Flexible options are available, such as 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Location: The role requires being onsite at least 4 days per week. There is a possibility for a hybrid work arrangement to be considered after the initial training period.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The core responsibilities of this internship include:
Processing vendor invoices diligently and accurately.
Following up on vendor inquiries and actively resolving any outstanding concerns.
Providing general support to the Finance Operations Team with various Accounts Payable tasks.
Adhering strictly to approved accounting workflows for all invoice processing activities.
Monitoring invoices to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Candidates for this internship should meet the following qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a college student, with a preference for Junior or Senior year standing.
• Possession of basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Customer service experience is a plus for this role.
