• Mission: Support the GBS Financial Services in all areas, including general accounting and reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Journal Entry Management: Monitor and create journal entries to maintain precise financial records.
• Account Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Intercompany Invoicing & Cash Application: Manage and efficiently process monthly intercompany invoices, and handle miscellaneous cash applications and reconciliations.
• Reporting and Tax Support: Assist with weekly freight postings, conduct initial research related to unclaimed property, provide government survey support, and help prepare the annual tax package.
• Monthly Close Procedures: Execute monthly close procedures and generate accurate financial reports as delegated by the GBS Finance Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Business major, with a preference for Accounting or Finance majors.
• Experience: Entry-level, suitable for a current student seeking practical experience.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, along with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and make informed decisions.
