Accounting and Automation Analyst | Stand Together

The Analyst will build a strong accounting foundation while helping the team work smarter and more efficiently.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI-Powered Accounting: Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to draft, review, and streamline accounting tasks including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• General Ledger Management: Prepare and record journal entries with proper support, perform monthly account reconciliations, and maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with internal controls.
• Close Process Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Process Automation: Identify repetitive workflows and collaborate with senior team members to automate them, documenting automated processes and maintaining clear audit trails.
• Reporting & Audit Support: Assist in preparing internal financial reports and schedules, and support audit requests by compiling necessary schedules and documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent coursework. Foundational understanding of accounting principles and the general ledger.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience, including internships or entry-level roles. Demonstrated genuine interest in AI and automation, with exposure to or interest in tools like Power Automate, Python, or Excel macros.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, along with the ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and document work clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with an ERP system (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle) or experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse/analytics platforms.
