What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare and review financial entries: Generate and examine journal entries and reconciliations for management review.
• Produce management reports: Create monthly and quarterly financial reports for review by leadership.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies: Research and resolve issues related to financial data as they arise.
• Initiate process enhancements: Identify opportunities to improve existing accounting processes and drive their implementation.
• Contribute to project initiatives: Participate in challenging projects alongside the team to advance organizational goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, with a focus on accounting principles.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in public or corporate accounting.
• Skills: Ability to perform reconciliations, manage settlement processes, handle general ledger work, research and resolve data issues, and proficiency with Google Office or Microsoft Office products.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, or 2+ years of experience in public, corporate accounting, audit, or finance.
