• Mission: This person will contribute to the firm’s primary engagement in auditing local governments and non-profits, while developing their accounting career.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Support: Participate in audit engagements for local government entities and non-profit organizations, supporting senior staff in applying established accounting standards and practices.
• Financial Record Review: Assist with the examination and verification of financial statements, transactions, and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Accounting Principles Application: Apply foundational business, accounting, and bookkeeping knowledge to a variety of tasks that support the firm’s core auditing operations.
• Career Development: Engage actively in learning and professional development, with potential for assistance towards an accounting degree and CPA licensure after a trial period.
• Operational Contribution: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s accounting and auditing services in a supportive and evolving capacity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with foundational knowledge in business, accounting, and/or bookkeeping principles. This role is suitable for someone eager to start and grow an accounting career within our firm.
• Experience: Candidates with limited accounting knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a keen interest and commitment to building a long-term career in the accounting field.
