The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid – USA (with 25% travel)
• Pay: $139386–$213628 yearly
• Team: Accounting Advisory team, comprised of seasoned public accounting and business consulting professionals.
• Mission: Advise financial services and banking clients on a wide range of strategic initiatives and complex technical accounting and control matters.
• Tech Stack: Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365

What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise Clients: Advise financial services and banking clients on strategic initiatives such as IPO preparation, transaction support, carve-outs and spin-offs, audit readiness, and new accounting standards adoption.
• Collaborate on Technical Matters: Collaborate with clients and internal teams on technical accounting and control-related matters, providing research-backed guidance and actionable recommendations.
• Present Solutions: Develop and deliver presentations to client stakeholders detailing technical concepts, project plans, delivery strategies, milestones, and project outcomes.
• Educate Audiences: Educate internal and external audiences on accounting best practices, especially as they relate to emerging financial technologies and digital assets.
• Manage Client Relationships: Manage client relationships with a focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building trust and credibility as a strategic advisor.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. This is a Senior Manager level role within professional services, specifically public accounting or advisory, requiring deep expertise in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience gained in professional services, either public accounting or advisory. This includes direct exposure to digital assets or fintech environments, along with a proven understanding of accounting and audit practices, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX standards. Ability to conduct technical accounting research and develop actionable recommendations. Expertise in designing and implementing business solutions and managing project delivery.
• Bonus: A Master’s in Accounting, MBA, CPA, or CIA designation. Practical knowledge of common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Workday, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Demonstrated leadership in building and motivating teams to exceed client expectations, and experience managing and executing complex projects in demanding environments.
