What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Prepare and analyze accounting transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Records: Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation for reliable financial data.
• Controls: Support, monitor, and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, strengthening compliance and integrity.
• Analysis: Conduct accounting analyses and assist in effectively resolving accounting-related issues.
• Efficiency: Identify opportunities and implement initiatives for process improvements and increased operational efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business with at least three accounting courses, or a Bachelor’s degree specifically in Accounting.
• Experience: At least one year of accounting-related experience is required if holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2-4 years of accounting-related experience, or experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, or Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. CPA, CMA, or MBA certification is also preferred.
