What You’ll Actually Do
• Revenue Accounting: Execute timely revenue accounting activities for assigned business units.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts for accurate financial reporting.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze and summarize variances in revenue and accounts receivable.
• Reconciliations: Prepare and resolve account reconciliations promptly.
• Process Improvement: Identify and support process improvement initiatives and solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation processes.
• Bonus: Local to the Birmingham, AL area and able to accommodate a hybrid work arrangement.
