What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory records to ensure accurate costing and valuation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely financial statements according to established schedules.
• Audit Support: Assist with the annual audit process by preparing necessary audit schedules.
• Process Improvement: Review and improve accounting and financial procedures and policies for greater efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with core domain knowledge in accounting and financial reporting principles (GAAP), inventory management, and general ledger.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software systems.
• Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
