What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Process accounts payable records for multiple company entities.
• Invoice Verification: Review electronic invoices to ensure accurate vendor information within automated software.
• Approval Routing: Route invoices not tied to purchase orders for appropriate approval.
• Coding Accuracy: Verify general ledger coding accuracy for invoices, expense reports, and purchase card transactions.
• Order Matching: Confirm invoice accuracy by comparing against purchase orders and corresponding receivers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school degree or equivalent, possessing a solid understanding of basic accounting practices and AP principles.
• Experience: Minimum two years combined accounts payable or clerical accounting experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Possesses excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP software and Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable preferred.
