The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Enterprise Mobility. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands through an integrated global network. This role is crucial as it offers comprehensive training in business, accounting, and finance, directly preparing individuals to become a Controller/VP of Finance within their own financial operation. The Accountant provides essential financial management and contributes balance to the marketing and operational aspects of the business, with a clear path for career progression through internal promotion and development.

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: Full Time 40 hours between 8a.m. – 5p.m. (Monday-Friday)
• Pay: $31.25 hourly
• Mission: Execute accounting procedures and principles to support financial statement preparation and analysis, contributing to the financial health and strategic growth of the business.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and conduct financial analysis.
• Accounting Operations: Assemble bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations, and assist in financial reporting.
• Month-End Close: Participate in a timely and accurate month-end closing process and analyze income statement fluctuations.
• Auditing & Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Business Partnership: Establish effective communication with other departments and branches, partnering on cost containment and Group initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Intermediate or above proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word). Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions within the past 5 years.
