What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting Accuracy: Engage proactively with various department heads across the organization to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial activities and data. This collaboration is essential to meticulously verify and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting generated, reconciling discrepancies and clarifying data points to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity.
• Statement Preparation: Take ownership of the preparation of core financial statements, along with all necessary supporting schedules. This involves meticulously compiling, reviewing, and organizing financial data according to the established monthly close schedule, ensuring all figures are precise and properly documented for review.
• Statement Distribution Support: Provide crucial assistance in the subsequent stages of financial reporting, specifically in the preparation for and effective distribution of financial statements. This may involve formatting reports, compiling packages, and ensuring that statements reach relevant stakeholders in a timely and organized manner.
• Data Management & Oversight: Bear primary responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of a wide array of financial accounting data. This encompasses various accounting areas, requiring meticulous attention to detail to ensure all entries and records are precise, up-to-date, and reflective of the company’s financial position at all times.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional possessing a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional experience specifically within an accounting role.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, coupled with strong analytical and organizational capabilities essential for supporting the accounting team effectively.
