This role is crucial for our growing business, as the Accounting team ensures financial accuracy, drives process improvements, and provides essential insights for smooth operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to help maintain our financial health.

• Mission: This person ensures financial accuracy and supports smooth operations by managing daily accounting tasks and assisting with month-end close responsibilities.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, apply payments, generate aging reports, and follow up on collections.
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, ensure proper coding and approvals, and prepare outgoing payments.
• Credit Card Management: Issue company credit cards, review expenses for compliance, and perform necessary reconciliations.
• Month-end Close: Support month-end activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving accounting processes or implementing automation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience with exposure to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and reconciliations.
• Skills: Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP); proficient in Excel and comfortable with accounting software; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines; good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with sales tax.
