What You’ll Actually Do
• Bookkeeping: Manage and maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records for all company transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and properly categorized according to established financial guidelines.
• Financial Reporting: Produce and prepare clear, accurate financial reports, summaries, and statements on a regular basis to provide stakeholders with a transparent view of the company’s financial status.
• Data Recording: Accurately record all financial information, including income, expenses, and transactions, systematically within the QuickBooks accounting software to ensure up-to-date and reliable financial data.
• Data Analysis: Systematically dig into financial data, meticulously organizing information to identify patterns, trends, and any potential discrepancies or inconsistencies that require further investigation.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively solve identified financial data issues, reconciling accounts, and correcting errors to ensure the ongoing accuracy and integrity of all financial records and reports.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional with a solid foundational understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and comprehensive knowledge of financial information management practices relevant to a business environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated practical experience with, or a strong aptitude for, meticulous bookkeeping processes and the production of various financial reports; proven proficiency in utilizing QuickBooks software for all recording and reporting tasks is essential.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage complex financial data efficiently, a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy across all records, robust problem-solving capabilities to address financial discrepancies, and a self-motivated approach to maintaining high standards in financial data management.
