• Mission: Owns the accuracy of financial records, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and process journal entries as required to accurately reflect financial activities for a given period, ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting principles.
• Invoice Management: Process Accounts Payable and Intercompany invoices and documentation, issuing timely payments and comparing invoices against purchase orders.
• Account Reconciliation: Complete comprehensive account reconciliations, including confirmation of outstanding Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable from sister companies.
• Financial Analysis: Prepare supporting financial schedules and conduct variance analysis to aid financial reporting and insights.
• Project Support: Assist Divisional and Corporate controllers with assigned special projects and perform J-Sox testing for sister companies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional accounting experience.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Demonstrated understanding of industry best practices and regulations within the accounting field, including GAAP; Ability to prepare, process, and maintain complex financial records and reports; Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
