Entry-Level Accountant | Enterprise Mobility

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Enterprise Mobility, located in Wichita, KS. Enterprise Mobility is a family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands and a leading provider of mobility solutions worldwide, operating a global network with 90,000 team members across nearly 100 countries. This role offers real-world business, accounting, and financial training to prepare individuals for financial management, ultimately aiming to become a Controller/VP of Finance. As a key partner, this position oversees all aspects of financial management and provides balance to the business’s marketing and operational components.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and manage financial records, assisting in financial reporting.
• Audit & Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Record Management: Assemble bank reconciliation and account schedules, preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Closing Process: Participate in a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Business Analysis: Analyze income statement fluctuations, provide process improvement and cost saving ideas, and support budgeting and forecasting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Skills: Accounting procedures, Financial statement preparation, Financial analysis, Data reconciliation, Journal entry preparation.
• Bonus: Willingness to attain CPA, CMA, or other advanced financial degree; flexibility for career advancement that could include relocation outside local area/state; a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years.
