This role is crucial for supporting the organization’s continued growth by managing various accounting functions. • Mission: This role is responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions to support the continued growth of the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Records Management: Maintain accurate general ledger records, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Reconciliation & Analysis: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and prepare inventory, gross margin, and fixed asset schedules.
• Transactional Support: Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, and manage payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and assist with tax and regulatory filings.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and improve overall efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Skills: Working knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures, strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.
• Bonus: Experience with QuickBooks and UKG HRIS is preferred.
