What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all accounting transactions within the company’s systems.
• Reconcile multiple accounts from various accounting-based systems on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
• Assist in the comprehensive preparation of financial statements for both Statutory and GAAP reporting, helping to explain any variances.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and support investigations into identified variances for management.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and reports, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and assisting with state filings, premium taxes, and ad hoc reporting.

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education.
