Family Office Accountant | Prime Healthcare

• Mission: Own the accurate maintenance of financial records, including journal entries, balance sheet analysis, and bank reconciliations, to support the corporate team’s financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entry Management: Log and prepare the majority of journal entries for the general ledger.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Cash Flow Operations: Execute bill payment functions and process checks as needed.
• Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Reporting Support: Maintain various ad hoc spreadsheets to support financial data needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; core domain knowledge in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word, professional communication, and proven ability to maintain high confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience with accounting software such as Sage and/or QuickBooks (Sage is highly preferred), previous experience within a family office setting, real estate, investment, and/or wealth management institution, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure.
