The role advertised is for an Account Sales Intern. This is an unpaid, 3-month internship with a commitment of 10–20 hours per week (specifically, a commitment of 10-15 hours/week is requested). The internship can be based in one of three locations: NYC, LA, or MIA.

The Role’s Purpose:
The Account Sales Intern will join the growing business development team at 99 YARDS. Key responsibilities include assisting with onboarding new users, building relationships with various fashion brands and service providers, and playing a crucial part in expanding the 99 YARDS community. This position is particularly suited for individuals with an interest in the fashion industry, startups, and the evolving landscape of creative commerce.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
Lead Generation & Research: Assist in identifying and researching potential leads, which include fashion brands, factories, showrooms, and individual creatives.
Outreach Support: Support the team’s outreach efforts by helping to craft and send communications via email, LinkedIn, and direct message (DM) campaigns.
Partner Onboarding: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new partners and users joining the 99 YARDS platform.
Data Management: Track and manage leads and update account statuses using CRM systems and internal dashboards.
Meeting Participation: Prepare for and occasionally participate in virtual pitch meetings.
Feedback Collection: Assist in gathering feedback from users to continually improve outreach strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work in collaboration with the marketing and partnerships teams to enhance conversion rates.

Candidate Requirements (Who You Are):
Passion: A strong passion for fashion, technology, and community building.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Work Ethic: Highly organized, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various digital tools, including Google Suite, Notion, Airtable, or HubSpot.
Experience (Optional): Previous experience in sales, outreach, or customer support is a plus, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
Availability: Must be able to commit 10–15 hours per week for the duration of the 3-month internship.
