• Pay: $60,000–$150,000 yearly (Associate Partner salary); average recruiter income $280,000 (2023)
• Mission: Propel experienced individuals into management by developing them as financial professionals and then equipping them to lead and build high-performing teams to serve clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Phase One – Financial Professional Development: Begin as a financial professional, gaining firsthand experience by learning to sell a comprehensive suite of products, building robust client relationships, and meeting specific production and licensing requirements.
• Client Financial Goal Attainment: Advise clients using a robust range of competitive insurance and financial products, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products through NYLIFE Securities LLC.
• Licensing and Compliance: Obtain and hold necessary securities licenses and FINRA registrations to affiliate with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative, ensuring compliance when offering investment products.
• Phase Two – Management Transition: After successfully completing the financial professional requirements within the first 12 months, enter an intensive six-month Associate Partner training program to develop leadership capabilities.
• Team Leadership and Growth: Recruit, coach, and lead your own unit of financial professionals, providing ongoing guidance and support to help them achieve success in sales and client acquisition, thereby expanding the company’s reach and impact.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial aptitude; ideally hold an MBA or an equivalent degree, or possess a background in running your own business.
• Experience: Significant sales or managerial experience within any industry is essential to qualify for this program.
• Skills: Proven abilities in marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. Readiness to acquire and maintain all required securities licenses and FINRA registrations for offering investment products.
