Job Description: NBCUniversal Academic Year Internship Program
This paid internship program offers students a two-semester immersive experience within NBCUniversal’s Media Group. Interns contribute to meaningful projects, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship. The program provides benefits including paid time off for various reasons (mental health, exams, personal holidays), robust networking and development opportunities, a free Peacock subscription, and free Universal Parks admission.
Program Details:
• Application Period: April 21 – May 9, 2024 (may close early)
• Program Dates: September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026
• Time Commitment: 16-24 hours/week (flexible to accommodate coursework)

Specific Internship Opportunity: Peacock Performance Marketing
This internship within the Peacock Performance Marketing team provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting in planning and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across paid social, paid search, and programmatic media.
• Collaborating on creative development for ad campaigns.
• Tracking creative approvals and asset management.
• Analyzing campaign performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
• Reviewing media partner proposals.
• Working with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications:
• Basic Requirements: Actively enrolled in a degree-granting program (September 2025 – April 2026), sophomore standing or higher (30 credits minimum), authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, availability for 16-24 hours/week in NYC. December 2025 graduates are ineligible.
• Desired Characteristics: Junior or senior standing preferred, GPA 3.0 or higher, experience/interest in social media marketing, asset operations, media planning, project management, or data analysis. Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager is a plus.
• hourly Rate: $17.50 (undergraduate), $25.00 (graduate).
Important Note: While hired as an NBCU intern, the internship and responsibilities may transfer to SpinCo following the company’s planned spin-off.
