Accounting Advisory Services Intern | Weaver
The Tone:
This is a part-time or full-time internship at Weaver, a full-service national accounting, advisory, and consulting firm. What You’ll Actually Do
• Assignment Execution: Help perform outsourced accounting assignments for a variety of clients, applying foundational accounting knowledge in a practical business context.
• Client Collaboration: Engage directly in hands-on client work, either from a Weaver office location or by traveling to client sites as required, fostering professional client relationships.
• Financial Statement Exposure: Gain comprehensive exposure to multiple clients and diverse sections of the financial statements, deepening understanding of financial reporting and analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with a clear goal of obtaining the necessary hours to sit for the CPA exam.
• Experience: Capability to commit to working 20-40 hours per week for the duration of the internship, specifically from January through April; demonstrated ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed to fulfill assignment requirements.
• Skills: Proficient familiarity with core Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective client and team interaction; and a proactive approach characterized by a positive attitude and a strong growth mindset.
