Job Description
Deloitte is an external audit and assurance service firm seeking interns for their A&A Collective Teams. This internship is for those interested in a career with limited travel and a predictable work schedule. As an intern, you will work alongside professionals across technical areas and industries to provide exceptional client service to a variety of audit and assurance clients.
You will be part of a team of problem solvers working to solve complex business issues. You will be involved in working independently and collaborating with a diverse team of talented professionals. During your internship you will be exposed to a multitude of clients and industries, learning about their business, the risks they face, their accounting and reporting processes, and their internal controls.
You will work with audit team members to learn about auditing client financial statements, transactions, and internal controls over financial reporting. You will learn about providing advisory and assurance services to clients and perform data interrogation and analysis of client data. You will assist in identifying and recommending solutions to client processes and leveraging innovative tools and technologies.
To be successful, you will need to manage your time well, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple assignments or engagements at the same time. You will also need to be a strong communicator and collaborate effectively with teams, both in person and virtually. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of broad business and technical accounting and auditing concepts.
Qualifications Required:
– Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field
– Ability to travel on an exception-basis (up to 10%)
– Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
– Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
– Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
