Job Description: A&A Collective Teams Intern
Are you looking for a unique career path in the world of audit and assurance? Deloitte is seeking passionate and talented individuals to join their A&A Collective Teams Internship program. This internship offers a chance to gain valuable experience in providing exceptional client service to a variety of audit and assurance clients – from small, fast-growing companies to large, publicly traded entities.
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with a team of problem solvers: Work alongside experienced audit and assurance professionals and Deloitte leaders to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries: Understand the business, risks, accounting and reporting processes, and internal controls of diverse clients.
• Contribute meaningfully to Deloitte’s audit and assurance services: Apply your knowledge and skills to real-world projects and engagements.
• Learn essential auditing concepts: Develop your expertise in auditing client financial statements, transactions, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Assist in providing advisory and assurance services: Gain experience in providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
• Perform data interrogation and analysis: Learn to analyze client data and extract meaningful information.
• Identify and recommend solutions to client processes: Contribute to improving client processes and achieving optimal outcomes.
• Leverage innovative tools and technologies: Become proficient in using Deloitte Way Workflows and other cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Work on multiple assignments or engagements simultaneously.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
• Showcase an understanding of broad business and technical accounting & auditing concepts.
Team Culture:
As part of A&A Collective Teams, you’ll experience a collaborative team culture with limited travel and a predictable work schedule. Teams are composed of professionals with technical and/or operational expertise, dedicated to delivering high-quality audits and exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field.
• Ability to travel on an exception-basis (up to 10%).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• Preferred:
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
