Description: A&A Collective Teams Intern
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in audit and assurance services, working alongside a team of talented professionals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate: Work as part of a team to solve complex business issues, contributing to both strategy and execution.
• Contribute: Perform independent tasks and contribute to the success of engagement teams.
• Gain Exposure: Learn about a variety of client industries, their business models, risks, accounting processes, and internal controls.
• Develop Skills: Apply fundamental audit concepts, including:
• Auditing client financial statements, transactions, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Providing advisory and assurance services to clients.
• Performing data interrogation and analysis.
• Identifying and recommending solutions to client processes.
• Utilizing innovative tools and technologies.
• Make Impact: Assist in the implementation of Deloitte Way Workflows, standardizing auditing methods and techniques.
• Learn and Grow: Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, time management and prioritization skills, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.
Team Culture:
As part of the A&A Collective Teams, you’ll experience a collaborative team culture with limited travel and a predictable work schedule. These teams consist of professionals with technical and operational expertise, focusing on executing high-quality audits and delivering exceptional client service.
Currently pursuings:
Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to travel on an exception-basis (up to 10%).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Preferred:
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0.
