Aprio is actively seeking high-potential accounting students interested in Audit and Tax for its Spring and Summer 2027 internship programs. The firm is looking for candidates committed to upholding Aprio’s standard of excellence and eager to engage directly in hands-on accounting projects.

• Target Audience: Accounting students.
• Locations: This specific application is for New York and New Jersey office locations. • Program Benefits & Experience:

Position Responsibilities (Specific to Role):

• Tax Interns:
• Responsible for the delivery of tax services for diverse clients across various industries.
• Involves interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Works closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies.
• Opportunity to work with middle to large-sized tax clients and collaborate with diverse and energetic teams.
• Audit Interns:
• Works with businesses and industry leaders to mitigate financial and business risks.
• Assists companies in improving financial reporting capabilities and internal controls.
• Involves evaluating accounting issues and staying current with new accounting regulations.
• Helps companies assess the quality of information for strategic decisions and identify areas for improving operating efficiencies.
• Opportunity to work with middle to large-sized audit clients and collaborate with diverse and energetic teams.

Qualifications:

• Accounting Major
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Understanding and applying Excel skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively and personably with clients and co-workers.
