This posting is for the 2026 Summer Internship Program – AMERS at BlackRock.

Region and Locations: The program is offered across the Americas, specifically in Canada and the United States. Cities include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Montreal, New York, Newport Beach, Princeton, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Sausalito, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC, and Wilmington.
Recruitment Year: 2026
Program Overview: This is a nine-week internship scheduled to take place from June through August.
Program Goal: The internship is meticulously designed to offer students a challenging, meaningful, and supportive experience that closely mirrors the responsibilities and environment of a full-time BlackRock Analyst.
Program Structure and Activities:
• The program commences with an orientation providing a comprehensive overview of the firm and opportunities to engage with senior leaders.
• Following orientation, interns receive extensive on-the-job training and are given day-to-day responsibilities to make tangible contributions to their respective teams throughout the summer.
• Beyond daily tasks, the program features a speaker series, dedicated mentoring, and various networking opportunities, including engagement with BlackRock’s employee networks.
Future Opportunities: Successful and interested participants are encouraged to explore BlackRock’s Full-Time Analyst Program, which they can apply to after completing their internship.
Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate or master’s students graduating between September 2026 and July 2027.
Important Application Rules:
• Candidates are strictly limited to applying for only one program (e.g., Summer Internship Program or Quantitative Master’s Internship Program).
• Within their chosen program, applicants can select up to two functions (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling).
• Both selected opportunities must be applied for using the same program application.
Withdrawing an application will prevent the candidate from submitting another application for the same program in the current year.
Application Process (Next Steps):
• Upon application submission, candidates will receive an email prompting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.
• Applicants have a strict five-day deadline to submit this assessment; failure to do so will result in the automatic withdrawal of their application.
