Job Description

This is for the Webull 2026 Summer Internship Program located in New York, New York.

About The Internship:
Webull is seeking motivated students in the New York area for its 2026 Summer Internship program. It is described as a vibrant, high-energy, and growing organization where every member is a key contributor. The internship aims to break free from traditional models, offering opportunities for interns to gain real-life experience through genuine one-on-one learning experiences with team members across various departments.

Internship Details:
Duration: 10-week paid program.
Structure: Rotational, allowing exposure to all sides of the broker-dealer business.
Learning Opportunity: Interns will support the organization while learning about a career at Webull, sitting side-by-side with successful team members.

Departments for Rotation:
Interns will rotate through 4 different departments:

1. Operations/Banking Team:
• Acts as the crossroads where all departments meet.
• Deals with the full life cycle of a trade, including all post-trade events, clearance, and settlements.
• Works seamlessly with every team at Webull.

2. Product Team:
• Serves as the bridge between innovation and execution.
Defines the vision for Webull’s trading platforms.
• Works cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams to bring new ideas to life.
• Drives feature development, user experience, and platform optimization.
• Focuses on delivering seamless, intuitive tools for retail investors and ensuring Webull remains a dynamic, data-driven fintech leader.

3. Compliance Team:
• Dedicated to understanding current and future regulations and laws and applying them to an ever-changing landscape.
• Involved in day-to-day supervision and regulatory oversight.
• Responsibilities include: review of brokerage activities, WSP’s and procedure creation and testing, licensing and registration, regulatory interpretation and response, governmental inquiries, and associated member oversight.

4. Margin & Risk Team:
• Key to the daily function of retail trading.
• Utilizes Risk Prevention and Risk Monitoring techniques to protect enterprise risk and client accounts.
• Analyzes various aspects of the business, including trading patterns, derivative products, client account security, and generating risk models.
• Deals with important retail trading functions such as Margin or leverage, Options Trading, market risk analysis, big data, and financial models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Rising Senior / current undergraduate student majoring in Finance, Economics, or any Business-related major.
Interest: Strong interest in the FinTech industry and an eagerness to learn and grow.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
Initiative: Takes initiative and is proactive in approaching challenges.
Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, dependable, and consistently conscientious.
Problem Solving: Creative problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.

What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Certifications: Obtained or currently studying for the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials).
Experience: Previous experience interning at a financial firm/broker-dealer.
Mindset: A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
