Internship Overview

Join Highgate for an exciting 2026 Summer internship opportunity within our Corporate Office! This specific role is with the creative marketing team, offering an immersive experience in the hospitality industry. While Highgate offers internships across various departments such as HR, Operations, Revenue, Marketing, and F&B, this particular opening focuses on creative marketing. You will gain valuable insights into the dynamic world of hospitality while contributing to a fun and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Creative Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the Creative Director and Art Director, focusing on a range of creative projects and studio responsibilities. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing all creative projects, tasks, and studio operations.
  • Assisting in managing new task requests and accurately inputting them into project management software.
  • Designing compelling PowerPoint presentations for Highgate’s business development and other pitches.
  • Preparing mechanical print files for various marketing materials.
  • Contributing to the ideation and design of merchandise, swag, and collateral.
  • Organizing logo exports and maintaining an efficient system for brand files.
  • Supporting the development of diverse marketing materials.
  • This role primarily focuses on managing creative work and requests; however, interns are expected to be proactive in designing and suggesting creative ideas.
  • Ensuring all files, including working files, are meticulously organized and saved in their designated folders.

Qualifications

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a college or graduate degree in Arts, Creative, Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Asana and Monday.com, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Possesses knowledge of website CMS (Content Management Systems) and back-end management.
  • Has knowledge of Adobe Suite, though extensive design experience is not required, as the role’s primary focus is on managing creative work and requests rather than intricate design.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Is proactive and takes initiative in accomplishing tasks.
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Requires outstanding communication skills, given direct involvement with both field and corporate marketing teams.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, confidently provide feedback to management, and ensure strong follow-through on all assignments.
