2026 Summer Intern: Enterprise Strategy | Aledade

The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at Aledade, a public benefit corporation. Aledade empowers independent primary care, growing to be the largest network of its kind in the country. The company’s mission is to help practices, health centers, and clinics deliver superior care and thrive within the value-based care model by revolutionizing the traditional fee-for-service model. This role matters because it directly supports Aledade’s objective to address performance challenges and identify opportunities for improvement within healthcare practices, ensuring they can better serve patients and align with value-based care initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assess Practice Performance: Conduct thorough research and data analysis to evaluate current performance challenges and areas for improvement within Aledade’s Enterprise Anchor practice field teams.
• Develop Enhancement Strategies: Collaborate with the Enterprise Strategy team and practice field teams to co-create strategies aimed at improving practice performance, boosting operational effectiveness, and enhancing practice satisfaction with Aledade.
• Design Implementation Plans: Create practical, actionable implementation plans for proposed strategies, defining clear metrics for tracking their impact and ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
• Participate in Cohort Activities: Attend regular cohort meetings with other interns to gain insights from company leaders, engage in professional development programming, and connect with peers.
• Gain Executive Exposure: Interact with senior executives and industry leaders, developing expertise in critical areas such as healthcare policy, business operations, Medicare, commercial payer contracts, and clinical workflows.

• Background: An early career individual possessing prior internship experience and a strong record of academic success.
• Experience: Demonstrated prior internship experience is required.
• Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, research methodologies, collaborative teamwork, strategic problem-solving, and a strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: A genuine passion for the healthcare industry, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to proactively take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
