Job Title: 2026 Summer Intern (Insurance & Financial Services)

Internship Program Overview:
This program offers a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of insurance and financial services. Interns will gain exposure to one or more core areas based on their interests and business needs, including:

Interns will work in-person alongside industry professionals, receiving mentorship, participating in professional development sessions, and engaging with organizational leaders. The program also fosters a collaborative cohort environment, allowing interns to build networks, develop skills, and explore potential pathways to full-time employment within Alera Group.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Summer Intern, you will actively contribute to various team efforts, including:

  • Conducting research, gathering data, and assisting with basic analysis.
  • Preparing and organizing documents, reports, presentations, and internal materials.
  • Participating in team meetings, trainings, and job shadowing opportunities.
  • Supporting project coordination, including task tracking and follow-ups.
  • Communicating with team members to gather information and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintaining accurate records and performing data entry.
  • Contributing ideas, asking questions, and taking initiative on assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • A demonstrated interest in the insurance and financial services industries.
  • Motivation to participate fully in team efforts with a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.

Additional Information & Logistics:

  • Internship Duration: Approximately 10 weeks, running from early June through mid-August 2026. Exact dates will be determined in consultation with the intern and their direct manager.
  • Location: This is an In-Office position. Applicants must be local to the office location to apply.
  • Compensation: $25 per hour.
