Job Description (2026 Intern Analyst, Investment Banking):

The role of a 2026 Intern Analyst at BDA Partners is a full-time position for a period of January – June 2026 (at least 6 months), with flexibility in start and end dates to accommodate university timetables. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in investment banking with a focus on M&A advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

The Intern Analyst will primarily provide project management and execution support on complex transactions and prepare presentation materials to communicate key messages. Specific duties include:

Assistance in the preparation of:
Financial models
Valuation analysis
Marketing documentation
Research
Conducting research and analysis for:
Target profiles
Industry analysis
Potential buyer profiles
Comparable listed companies valuation
Comparable transactions valuation
Assisting in the drafting of important pitch documents and marketing materials such as:
Pitch books for potential transactions
Marketing documents for mergers and acquisitions mandates, including teasers, information memorandums, and management presentations
Attending meetings with clients and counterparties and preparing concise, insightful notes on the meetings.

• A strong interest in Asia and a desire to develop a career in Asian M&A.
Good commercial sense and an interest and inherent curiosity in companies, their operations, and strategies.
Fundamental understanding of financial statements and valuation principles and techniques.
Superior knowledge of advanced tools in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Must be willing to come into the Midtown office daily (Monday through Friday).
• Must be willing and able to provide proof of vaccination, per New York City vaccination standards (reasonable accommodations and religious exemptions will be honored).
Prior experience in finance or banking is highly desirable.
