2026 Instrumentation Technician Internship
Company: BASF
Location: Geismar, LA (37269 Highway 30)
Program Summary:
BASF is seeking a highly motivated student or recent graduate in Industrial Instrumentation Technology or Instrument & Control Systems Technology for an Instrumentation Internship program at their Geismar, LA site.
- Gain valuable, hands-on experience in various Instrument Technician activities.
- Develop both technical and professional skills in your area of study.
- Work a 4/10 schedule for 3-4 months, shadowing a BASF Instrument Technician.
- Employment will be through a 3rd party contractor for the duration of the internship.
- Successful interns who complete the program may be considered for upcoming full-time positions at the site.
What We’re Looking For (Formula for Success):
- Current student in the last semester of, or recent graduate with, a degree in one of the following areas:
- Industrial Instrumentation Technology
- Instrument & Control Systems Technology
- Academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.0) with a letter of recommendation from a professor.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding work ethic.
