With a proven track record, our program has proudly welcomed students from over 70 high school and collegiate institutions in the past three years, showcasing its widespread recognition and impact.
Each summer, we welcome over 200 talented students, strategically placing them across the country at various national Gaylor Electric locations and active job sites. Throughout the 8-to-10-week paid experience, interns benefit from dedicated workshops and resources, including resume development, interview preparation sessions, insightful discussions on business best practices, and professional headshots. The internship culminates in either a significant academic capstone presentation or a comprehensive craft skills assessment, ensuring a tangible outcome to your summer experience.

Who You Are
We are looking for passionate college students who are actively pursuing a degree in a field that aligns with Gaylor Electric’s core business needs. Ideal candidates will be:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management.
- Enrolled in an Engineering program (Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering).
- Studying Occupational Health & Safety.
- Pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or any other related college major, complemented by relevant academic or work-related experience.
- Excited by the prospect of visiting and traveling to new locations and projects, embracing diverse work environments.
