Their Finance organization drives the company’s financial management activities including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance support, treasury and tax management.
Job Description:
This posting is for the 2026 Finance Summer Internship Program at Wells Fargo. It’s a 10-week program designed for undergraduate students to gain a high-level understanding of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture within the Finance organization.
Key Aspects:
• Program Overview: A 10-week internship providing an overview of Wells Fargo and its operations, business strategies, and organizational culture. The program includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, feedback sessions, group projects, and informative learning sessions with key leaders.
• Rotational Opportunities: Interns will have the opportunity to support and engage with various finance teams, including:

• Wealth & Investment Management Finance
• Commercial Banking Finance

• Corporate & Strategic Finance
• Chief Operating Office Finance

• Investor Relations
• Responsibilities: The internship involves experiences across various finance disciplines, formal training, coaching, networking, and exposure to multiple business lines and finance-related responsibilities.
• Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter with strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. They should have a genuine interest in learning and growth within the finance field.
• Required Qualifications: 6+ months of work experience or equivalent.
• Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic proficiency in Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools
• Relevant extracurricular activities.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Math, or Business Administration/Business Management.
• Knowledge, interests, and/or experience in financial services, corporate accounting, data management and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics.
• Program Duration & Locations: The program is 10 weeks long, running from June to August 2026 (dates subject to change). Locations include Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, and Irving, TX (subject to change).
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring sponsorship from Wells Fargo, now or in the future.
• Pay Range: $18.00 – $65.00 (Pay may vary depending on factors including achievements, skills, experience, or work location).
