Job Description: 2026 Finance Internship Program – Early Careers
This job posting is for the 2026 Finance Summer Internship within Wells Fargo’s Finance organization, targeting early career professionals.
Program Overview:
The Finance Internship Program is a ten-week development program designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive understanding of Wells Fargo. Interns will gain high-level insights into the company’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture. The program is structured to offer a blend of business and professional development training, incorporating real-world experiences to prepare participants for a potential career at Wells Fargo.
Key components of the internship experience include:

• Informative learning sessions with key leaders
Interns will be placed in one of the finance groups listed below, with placements determined based on location, degree, interest, and business needs.

In This Role, You Will:
• Gain experience across various finance disciplines that support Wells Fargo’s objectives.
• Receive formal training opportunities through onboarding, orientation activities, and throughout the program to prepare for a career in finance at Wells Fargo.

• Be exposed to multiple business lines and various finance-related responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Basic proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities such as volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), or non-profit involvement.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Math, or Business Administration/Business Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interests, and/or experience in the financial services industry, corporate accounting, managing data and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics.
Program Details:
• Duration: 10 weeks, from June to August 2026 (exact dates are TBD and subject to change).
• Locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Irving, TX. (Locations are subject to change and contingent on business needs.)
• Visa/Authorization: Wells Fargo will only consider candidates who are currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future.
