This is a description for the 2026 Finance Summer Internship Program at Wells Fargo, aimed at early career talent.
• Business Overview: Wells Fargo’s Finance organization manages the company’s financial activities (accounting, financial planning, treasury, tax, etc.) and supports investment portfolios, regulator interactions, and investor communications.
• Program Overview: The Finance Internship Program is a 10-week development program offering an overview of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and culture. It includes relationship building, work assignments, coaching, feedback, group projects, and learning sessions with leaders.
• Internship Experience: You’ll support and engage with teams across various finance groups, including:
• Consumer Banking & Lending Finance
• Wealth & Investment Management Finance
• Commercial Banking Finance
• Corporate & Investment Banking Finance
• Corporate & Strategic Finance
• Chief Operating Office Finance
• Investment Portfolio
• Technology Finance
• Treasury
• Controllers Division
• Investor Relations
• Responsibilities:
• Gain experience across various finance disciplines.
• Participate in formal training and onboarding activities.
• Receive coaching and networking opportunities.
• Gain exposure to multiple business lines and finance-related responsibilities.

• Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Basic proficiency in Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Math or Business Administration/Business Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interests and/or experience in the financial services industry, corporate accounting, managing data and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics
• Program Details:
• Duration: 10 weeks, June-August 2026 (dates subject to change).
• Locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Irving, TX (subject to change).
• Visa Sponsorship: Wells Fargo will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future.
• Pay Range: $18.00 – $65.00 (Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location)
