2026 Creative Summer Internship – Art Director

Ogilvy is seeking the next generation of creative talent for its 2026 Creative Summer Internship Program in the role of Art Director.

Program Overview:
Role: Art Director Intern
Location: Ogilvy New York (The program is offered in both Chicago and New York offices).
Job Posted Date: November 26, 2025
Application Deadline: January 5, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Program Duration: 10 weeks, from June to August.
Employment Type: Full-time (35-40 hours a week), paid internship.
Work Model: Hybrid, with an expectation of 3-4 days in the office.
Experience: Interns will gain hands-on experience working with live client briefs, contributing to current campaigns and fast-moving projects alongside award-winning creative teams.
Development: The program offers wide exposure to different brands and creative leaders, with dedicated mentorship to sharpen craft and build a strong portfolio with real-world experience.

Portfolio Required: A link to a portfolio or sample of work is required with the application to demonstrate creative process and unique point of view.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Learning & Adapting: Quickly absorbing fast-paced agency life and deadlines.
Concept Development: Concepting ideas for client briefs.
Visual Creation: Creating visual layouts for various media.
Team Support: Supporting the larger team with various tasks, such as pulling visuals/scrap.

Eligibility Requirements:
Age: All applicants must be 18 years or older.
Work Authorization: Must have current and future U.S. work authorization.
Portfolio: A link to a portfolio or sample of work must be submitted with the application.
Location: By the start of the program in June, candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office they plan to work in (Chicago or New York).

Compensation:
Pay Range: $20—$25 USD per hour.
